Joint Venture: Mixed-use, new construction of sustainable and affordable housing
CAMBA Housing Ventures, Inc. is co-developer with Hudson Companies and Related on Gateway Elton III, the third phase of the urban renewal development project known as Gateway Elton Street. The final phase of the project consists of two new construction buildings, a $106 million public-private investment generating 287 affordable homes and an additional 45,000 square feet of retail space. Gateway Elton III provides housing for a mix of income levels, at 40%, 50%, and 60% of Area Median Income (AMI).
Across all three phases, the Gateway Elton Street development consists of 659 apartments, 70,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and community facility space, and one million watts of renewable energy. The entire project’s solar array adds up to more than one Gigawatt.
