CAMBA Night Out is CAMBA/CHV’s premier fundraiser of the year, enabling us to fund critical programs that help our communities continue to grow and thrive.    

We hope you will join us for a fun-filled evening together to support CAMBA/CHV and the growing number of New Yorkers in need that we help each year.  

This year, we are pleased to honor Associate Dean of NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate and Former CAMBA Housing Ventures Board Member Marc Norman and Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Brown & Weinraub David N. Weinraub. We will also pay special tribute to retiring CAMBA President & CEO Joanne M. Oplustil. 

About Our Honorees

Marc Norman is the founder of consulting firm Ideas and Action, the Larry & Klara Silverstein Chair in Real Estate Development & Investment, and Associate Dean of the Schack Institute of Real Estate at the NYU. He has over 25 years of experience in community development and finance, working with for-profit and nonprofit organizations, consulting firms, and investment banks, and currently consults with organizations throughout the United States and internationally. Marc understands the transformative impact of co-locating housing and healthcare, and championed CHV’s expansion into this arena. He was a revered member of the CHV Board of Directors from 2005-2023, and we look forward to honoring him as an advocate and supporter of our work and mission. 

David N. Weinraub is the co-founder and managing partner of Brown & Weinraub, New York’s top lobbying firm. David was a member of Governor Mario M. Cuomo’s senior staff, serving as Director of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs. He was also Counsel to Lieutenant Governor Stan Lundine and Director of Regional Services for the Department of State. David began working with CAMBA in 1995 and has helped expand the reach of our funding, brand, and impact. Thanks to his expertise, we have showcased the positive impacts public funding can have to countless high level elected officials. We are grateful to David for his many years of partnership with CAMBA/CHV and look forward to honoring his role in our expansion and effectiveness.
